A Dad made world, inspired by our real life dogs, kids, and our childhood.

Frankie & Lloyd was something I had wanted to do for a while, from before we even had Frankie. Once we got Frankie, the pieces started to fit together, but something was missing. After becoming first an uncle to my nieces and nephews and watching them grow. Seeing the ups and downs from our sisters, and then becoming a father myself. It clicked.

Kids today are becoming increasingly reliant on the tablets and the online fixes. We watched TV as kids, but it was different. We got to watch what was on, with commercials, when it was on. We didn't get to pick from thumbnails over and over again at will. Unfortunately, so many creators have capitalized on this "algorithm", making mind-numbing, or overly politicized content to keep kids hooked.

While this is the way we consume content now, we still have a choice as to what we consume. Cue Frankie and Lloyd. This started as a project to have something to read to my son, it has now obviously grown and we are excited to share with the world. I wanted something with heart. Something simple, but with complex and important lessons for my son. Lessons that help shape character and build good people. Like I feel we had growing up. Those lessons are wrapped up in a fun, exciting world seen through the lens of our dog, Frankie.

We aim to produce and share many more books, activities, and content that kids can grow with and parents like me can feel confident to share with their kids.
